Terri Hinton has been building a successful career in advertising sales for the past eight years. A natural innovator with a passion for both spiritual and social transformation, she has found her niche in serving many of the pioneering conscious media publishers in the US. Her specialty is creating integrated advertising opportunities for companies interested in reaching the emerging demographic known as LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).

Terri’s approach to advertising is not that of your average saleswoman: she is committed to working together with companies to deepen their understanding of the larger role advertising plays in helping shape our cultural values. As a result, she has partnered with some of the most innovative social platforms and media companies, as well as some of the more progressive Fortune 500 companies, and is initiating a conversation that takes advertising in a decidedly different direction.

Terri has been a leader and entrepreneur all her life. She was a top volleyball player in her college years, twice leading her team to the Nationals, where they took 7th and 8th place. She started her first company, Art To Wear, Inc. while living on welfare as a single parent, and it was quickly voted one of top 10 gift companies in the US. Within 5 years, she had 75 employees and over 120 sales reps around the country, with gross annual revenues of $3.5 million/year.

In her early thirties, feeling the need for a deeper foundation to her life and success, Terri took an unexpected step. She left her company to dedicate herself to spiritual practice and engagement. Under the guidance and inspiration of Andrew Cohen, founder of the organization EnlightenNext, she immersed herself in a new perspective on the human experience that radically addresses the limitations of our current worldview, and offers a very serious and deeply integrated approach to the evolution of our consciousness and culture.

It was this spiritual inquiry that eventually led Terri back to the heart of the business world. Her natural ease in building relationships and her flair for creative branding made advertising the perfect avenue through which expand the reach of the leading-edge conversations she cares about. She is particularly excited about encouraging companies to get involved in sponsoring conversations that elevate culture—integrating their brands with forward-thinking solutions to life’s serious questions.

Her client list includes leading ad agencies like Universal McCann and AKQL, and companies like Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and Bank of America, as well as up-and-coming thought leaders in a spectrum of fields. The media outlets she represents include EnlightenNext, Gaiam, Inc, LIME Network, Causes Application on Facebook, and Big Think, finding sponsors and advertisers interested in investing in the future demographic that these companies are creating.
